The First IEEE UKRCON-2017 general theme, Celebrating 25 Years of IEEE Ukraine Section, reflects the profound impact of IEEE on the Ukrainian Science for the last 25 years. IEEE Ukraine Section was founded on November 21, 1991 and for 25 years helps Ukrainian scientists find ways for cooperation with various international partners through IEEE conferences and grants.

VENUE and ACCOMODATION
The conference is going to be held in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.
Kyiv is situated on the North of Ukraine. The great river Dnipro flows through the city surrounded by vast forests. There are many historical, cultural and natural attractions in Kyiv the guests of the city may be interested in.
The Scientific Sessions are going to be carried out in the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

Official language of the IEEE UKRCON-2017 is English. It will be used for all printed materials, presentations and discussions. Submissions must present original work that has not been previously published, and is not under review elsewhere.
Papers must be submitted electronically, in PDF and DOC (or TEX) format, on-line via the EasyChair system. Size of the conference paper should be from 4 to 6 full A4 pages, prepared according IEEE Conference Proceedings format:

At least one of the authors (presenting author) of each accepted paper is required to register, pay participation fee and participate in the Conference. Each author can submit and present no more than 3 papers.
IEEE UKRCON-2017 will include oral and poster sessions for papers describing original and previously unpublished work, plenary sessions with invited speakers, tutorials, and exhibits. Contributions are invited from industry and academia.
Conference will implement a single blind peer review process. All submitted papers will be provided to three independent anonymous reviewers. All accepted papers and oral (or poster) presenting at the IEEE UKRCON-2017 will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore Digital Library as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases (Scopus, Web of Science and etc). “No-show” papers won’t be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
Organizing Committee will provide limited number of Travel Grants for participants from developing countries, especially for students, young proffesionals and women in engeeniring.
